For visitors of all ages
San Diego has much to offer besides wonderful sunshine, miles of beaches and blue Pacific waves. One major attraction is Old Town, a neighbourhood with historic buildings from the Mexican and pre-colonial periods.
Another neighbourhood, the Gaslamp Quarter, takes you back to Victorian times. San Diego’s most frequented spot, however, is the impressive Balboa Park, right in the city centre, with beautiful open spaces, gardens, the historic Old Globe Theatre and numerous museums. The park is also home to the renowned San Diego Zoo, one of the top zoos in the world. Another great attraction in the city is in the recreational Mission Bay Park, where various aquatic sports reign supreme. Attractions at Mission Bay include the SeaWorld amusement park.
